Sunday, Nov. 13

Downtown Christmas Open House

1-4 p.m.

Be the first to see the holiday inventory of more than 50 downtown merchants and take advantage of special deals and discounts.

Saturday, Nov. 26

Small Business Saturday

10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Support local businesses and “Shop Small” in downtown Conway this holiday season.

Conway Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration

1-6 p.m.

The ceremonial lighting of the City of Conway's 54-foot-tall Christmas tree coincides with the Chamber of Commerce's "Off the Clock" event, presented by American Management Corporation and Conway Regional Health System. In addition to the tree lighting, you and your family can enjoy rides on a Ferris Wheel, horse and carriage, and miniature train (details below). Santa will be available from 2-6 p.m., so be sure to bring your wish list! 

Live music presented by Preston Palmer Studios will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m.:

  • 4:30-5:00 p.m.: Music by Conway Symphony Orchestra Brass Quartet
  • 5:00-5:50 p.m.: Music by Elizabeth DeKunfy, Tyler Sellers, and Preston Palmer

Brothers' Engine No. 1 Train Rides

Conway Train will be at the Christmas Tree every night beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 1 p.m. until New Year's Day. The cost is $3 per ride. Debit cards are accepted.

Ferris Wheel Rides

When it comes to Christmas, Conway's motto is, "Go big or go home." For $5, you can take a ride on a Ferris Wheel overlooking downtown Conway. Rides will begin at 2 p.m. on Small Business Saturday (Nov. 26) and will continue through Dec. 23.

Monday-Thursday: 5-9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 5-10 p.m.
Closed each Sunday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
In case of inclement weather, operating times will be determined based on the current conditions.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

The horse-drawn carriage rides are back! Beginning Nov. 26, you can take a ride through downtown Conway in a horse-drawn carriage provided by Hot Springs Carriage Company. Rides are $5 per person and will begin at 1 p.m. on Small Business Saturday (Nov. 26) and continue nightly through New Year's Day.

Thursday, Dec. 8

Annual Christmas Open House

2-4 p.m.

The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Christmas Open House at 900 Oak Street in the Chamber lobby. Stop by and fellowship over hot apple cider with other members of the Conway business community.

Saturday, Dec. 10

Mistletoe Madness

All Day Event

Mistletoe Madness kicks off the 12 Days of Christmas Celebration that leads up to the final shopping craze before Christmas. Storewide holiday markdowns are the rule of the day! While you shop in Downtown Conway, enjoy the sights and sounds from street musicians and vendors from the Conway arts scene as well as concerts by the Conway Symphony Orchestra, local elementary schools, and area performers.

Conway Christmas Parade

6 p.m.

Join us on Front Street for the annual Conway Christmas Parade, hosted by the Silver Linings Relay for Life team. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
