Jamie Gates, executive vice president of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce and Conway Development Corporation, was named to the prestigious Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 Class of 2016. This year’s class was selected from more than 300 nominees.
At a luncheon recognizing the honorees, Gates shared what he has learned throughout his career:
“What’s most important to your success and happiness is who you choose to surround yourself with at home and at work and in your life,” he said. “That’s way more important than your talent or the circumstances you might be in.
Second, I’d encourage people to decide what needs to be done before you start worrying about how much it’s going to cost or how long it’s going to take.”
The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce would also like to congratulate Austin and Ashton Samuelson for being selected for the Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 Class of 2016. Austin and Ashton are the owners and founders of Tacos 4 Life, a restaurant that donates 22 cents for every meal purchased to Feed My Starving Children. The Samuelsons employ more than 130 at their two restaurants in Conway and one in Fayetteville.
