Baptist Health Medical Center–Conway hosted the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce's first "Off the Clock" event, presented by Cintas Corporation and CDI Contractors. Hundreds of attendees toured the new hospital in advance of its September opening at the after-hours social gathering. In accordance with the "Pass the Plate" theme, guests sampled food from six local restaurants: Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café, Smoothie King, Eat My Catfish, Holly’s Country Cookin’, PattiCakes Bakery, and T.G.I. Friday’s.
Baptist Health expands footprint in Conway
During the event, Troy Wells, president and CEO of Baptist Health Medical Center, announced that the health care system has broken ground on a four-story medical office building in Conway. The $15 million, 75,000-square-foot facility will be located behind the Conway hospital at 625 United Drive. CDI Contractors, the general contractor for Baptist Health Medical Center – Conway, is managing the construction of the medical office building.
Baptist Health Medical Center – Conway is hosting a dedication ceremony Friday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. Tours will follow at approximately 10:30 a.m. The first patients will be seen the following week on Friday, Sept. 16, beginning at 7 a.m.
Off the Clock
The theme of the next Off the Clock event is “Member Date” and will take place at the newly opened Donaghey Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. Details will be posted at ConwayChamber.org and on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
